The Wine: From the Treeton sub-region of the Margaret River. This is what the Langworthy’s say “It’s a weird little area full of hillbillies, dairy cows and, interestingly, some great Chardonnay vineyards. Cold at night, warm in the day with deep silver-grey sands that we think produce special Chardonnay”.

This shows why Julian Langworthy is one of the hottest winemakers in Australia at the moment. Slight hint of funk and flint on the nose – nice reduction. Cashew and mealy complexity add inviting layers behind some attractive fruits. White peach, lime juice and grapefruit. The palate has poise and precision. Just the way I like it!
